Blue Washington TV

Posted on Thursday 6 September 2007

We just completed a new site: bluewashington.tv

The purpose of the site is to bring together some of the most intelligent video available on the internet to a single, easy to find location. Initially, shows from Ted Talks, Charlie Rose, NOW and Bill Moyers Journal are available here. Some tidbits from Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are also here, just for fun. Over time, more will come.

Please take a look at bluewashington.tv and explore the shows. It’s free. It’s easy. And I think you’ll enjoy it.

Also, please forward its URL to your friends, ask them to visit bluewashington.tv and encourage them to subscribe to the network. Subscribers will receive an email each week listing the new shows that have been added in the prior seven days. Of course, subscriptions are free.

Thanks for your help. I hope you enjoy what you see.

Osama baffles Bush

Posted on Friday 9 December 2005

After hearing that Bush still didn’t know whether he was alive, Osama himself decided to send Bush a letter in his own handwriting to let him know he was still in the game. Bush opened the letter and it appeared to contain a coded message:

370HSSV 0773H

Bush was baffled, so he e-mailed it to Condi Rice. Condi and her aides had no clue either, so they sent it to the FBI. No one could solve it so it went to the CIA, then to NSA.

With no clue as to its meaning, they eventually asked Britain’s MI-6 for help. MI-6 cabled the White House:

“Tell the President he’s holding the message upside down.
